  • Traffic Swarm

I know someone who signed up with Traffic Swarm and was very excited about the endless possibilities this traffic generator seemed to offer. The whole concept seemed perfect. You basically get paid a certain amount of points to click around the Traffic Swarm website. It's like getting virtual money that you use for your own advertising so your website will be displayed when others start clicking around trying to earn credits.

The Traffic Swarm system seems perfect at first. They even set up an anti-cheat program to prevent people from getting hundreds of free points without actually doing any real clicking. So now there is no way you can beat their system. There is even a timer that makes sure you are spending a certain amount of time on each of the other advertiser's websites after you click on them. The system makes you wait 20 seconds before you can click again for more points. If you click before the 20 seconds is up, nothing happens. You can even see how many seconds have gone by with the built in counter displayed right on the same page.

You might think this is a great system, because you can click around for hours, trying to save up points. And You assume everyone else must be doing the same. You figure there must be thousands or maybe hundreds of thousands of other people clicking on all these websites, to save up credits to get more people to click on their own website.

You know the old saying "If it seems to good to be true, then it probably is"? I think that saying applies here. The excitement of Traffic Swarm quickly ends. After spending 60 hours clicking around their system to earn points my acquaintance did manage to save a bunch. He first realized there was a problem when he stopped surfing, and decided to use all his points and see what kind of response rate he got from all the other people clicking on his website. He put a tracking system on his url and website, so he could accurately monitor the amount of clicks and the amount of customers Traffic Swarm brought him. After all those hours of saving up those points, and watching them all get used up, he never got one single order from the Traffic Swarm visitors. Not one!

He even bought a couple thousand credits to see if he would get any kind of special attention or benefits since he was then a "Paid Pro Member" But nothing changed. He still got zero orders coming from Traffic Swarm.

Why do you think he got no orders? Well, in my opinion, the problem with Traffic Swarm is that all the members have their own website they are trying to promote. These are not shoppers! I think just about everyone participating in the Traffic Swarm system must be an advertiser, who is focused on advertising their own website. I feel that these people rarely read the websites they are clicking on. Instead, I think they just pay for credits. Did I mention that you can pay Traffic Swarm for as many points as you want? I think that's their biggest problem. They had a good system, but then got greedy and allowed people to start paying for credits. I'm sure this makes the owners of Traffic Swarm a fortune, but it does nothing but hurt the quality of your traffic in my opinion.

People using the Traffic Swarm system don't have to look your website if they just pay for their credits. Traffic Swarm users don't even have to click anymore when they pay for credits up-front.

That's why my acquaintance never got a single order from the Traffic Swarm system. Probably the only people that still click around to save up credits are the people that can't afford to pay for credits. And if they can't afford to pay for credits, how can they afford to order your products or services? I give Traffic Swarm a 1 on a scale from 1-10, and would not recommend this company.
