Lance Young started out buying and selling pre-foreclosure and bank repossessed houses. Later, he began investing in probate houses. Lance Young has been involved in real estate investing since all the way back to 1987.

In 1996 Lance Young wrote his first course on real estate investing. He called it "How to Buy Pre-foreclosure Houses for Big Profits". He later wrote three more books titled: "How To Make Big Money With Probate Houses", "How To Buy Bank Repossessed Houses For Big Profits", and "How To Make Big Money At Foreclosure Auctions". According to his website, it looks like you can buy all four of these for $97.

One of Lance Young's main strategies is to buy foreclosed homes and probate homes "dirt-cheap", with a tiny deposit around ten dollars, then immediately flip them for instant profits. Lance Young claims to average about $100 an hour by following his own real estate strategy, and he claims you can do the same thing.

Lance Young may be right if you think you might like this kind of business.  Lance Young is probably a really great guy, but this business isn't for me.
